FIREWEED HONEY
RUSHING RIVER APIARIES
Fireweed Honey is a specialty honey unique to the northwest. In order to harvest this monofloral honey, our bees are moved into the mountains surrounding Terrace, BC for most of July and August where they are able to forage from the abundance of fireweed.
Fireweed honey is a true treat of nature. It is very light in colour, with subtle fruity notes and a smooth, buttery finish.
All of our honey is cold filtered and unpasteurized (raw).
